I have a passion for making complex financial matters more easily understood. I think it stems from my natural interest in behavioral economics, investing and personal finance which started at a young age. Growing up with a father who is a financial planner gave me great exposure into the financial industry and business world. It is extremely rewarding to help families become financially capable and more confident in their future. On a more personal level, I love connecting and building meaningful relationships with people which is why my role on the team is a perfect fit for me. I get to build custom proposals, create content to simplify financial matters and foster relationships with partners and specialists to ensure that our clients work with the very best in the industry. I also engage in outreach activities so that more people know about our extraordinary team and the services we provide.

I consider myself a lifelong learner and am someone who loves to share knowledge with others. I have a BA Honours degree in Economics from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. I joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2016 and then joined this team in 2019. It has been so rewarding to contribute to a team that shares similar values and who take a client-centered approach. Kindness and equality are important to me – I feel strongly about taking a collaborative approach to ensure our clients are heard and engaged in all interactions. In 2017, I was the recipient of the RBC Quarterly Performance Winner and am currently working towards my CFP certification.

One of my main hobbies over the last 12 years has been riding horses. I competed internationally and have also coached children in riding and caring for horses. Coaching taught me a lot about communication, discipline and teamwork! I am also the wife to a lovely Saskatchewan farm boy who has taught me a lot about the agriculture industry. Together we have a husky puppy named Kali who keeps us active and on our toes! Something people may not know about me is that I was born and raised in Scotland; and while my Scottish accent is fading, I still love talking about all things British.
